Beijing. On Thursday morning, the Italian Embassy in Beijing hosted the presentation of the 1000 Miglia Experience China. It is official, from 14 to 17 November 2024 the Freccia Rossa will land in China for the very first time.
The event was obviously attended by the first councillor of the Embassy, Marco Midolo, then the CEO of the 1000 Miglia Alberto Piantoni and the general manager Francesca Parolin.
The agreement that was signed with the Federation Classic Car China provides for the event to be held in southern China, specifically in the Guangdong province. This is no coincidence, as it is the first region of the country to have opened its trade to Europe.
Six classes of cars will race in the Canton area, first and foremost those of the 1000 Miglia Era, the historic models that competed in speed races between 1927 and 1957.
To celebrate the agreement, the Canton Administration has illuminated one of its most representative buildings with the colours and symbols of the historic Italian competition; the illuminated decorations will remain for three days and nights.
