Brescia, the Catholic University among the top 150 universities in Europe

    Brescia. The Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore ranks first among Italian universities for the outgoing international mobility of its students (Outbound Exchange Students) and third for the attractiveness from abroad of young people choosing the University for inbound study programmes (Inbound Exchange Students). This is what emerges from the second edition of the QS Europe University Ranking 2025, this year focusing on 684 European institutions from 43 countries, of which 51 are Italian.

    According to the ranking drawn up by Quacquarelli Symonds analysts, the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore is ranked 140th among universities in Europe, gaining a good 18 positions in the space of a year and thus entering the European top 150. It also ranks among the top ten Italian universities (third among Lombardy universities) for the good results obtained in other key indicators such as international student diversity (International Student Diversity), citations for scientific articles (Citations per Paper), employer reputation (Employer Reputation) and the ratio of student to faculty (Faculty Student Ratio).
    In the QS European rankings, the indicator in which the Catholic University shows the greatest growth concerns scientific publications per lecturer (Papers per Faculty): the University moves up 43 places, placing 139th.
