Malegno. Simone Faggioli on Nova Proto NP 01-2 (photo above) gave further proof of skill and experience at the 53rd Trofeo Vallecamonica. The Florentine of Best Lap dug a deep furrow with the record of race 1 in 3’42″600, so much so that he was able to contain the comeback of his rivals in race 2, when the leader of the Italian Superseat Championship was forced to restart after being stopped by the withdrawal of Luigi Fazzino, who had to raise the white flag at the halfway point on his Osella PA 30 due to a breakdown, after his excellent 2nd place in race 1.

Also on the tricolour podium was Franco Caruso from Ragusa, who on Nova Proto NP 01-2 once again showed tenacity and concreteness. Third place went to Diego Degasperi from Trentino, the Vimotorsport standard bearer who, on the Norma M20 FC, believed in it and recovered after a tiring race 1.
Good European duel that saw the success of Christian Merli on the official Osella FA 30 Evo RM at the photo finish over the French Nova Proto Geoffrey Schatz, who compromised race 1 for the shutdown of the car. Third the German Corentin Starck, also on Nova Proto.
Faggioli, Merli and Geoffrey Schatz the first three times of the race organised by AC Brescia that confirms again the Italian supremacy at continental level, with the French European leader who won race 2 in 3’45″332.
Below the tricolour podium was Francesco Conticelli from Trapani, who on Nova Proto Np 01 struggled more than expected, the Ateneo bearer lacked an effective set up especially in the lower and more driven part of the 8.6 km Camuno track.
Surprised again and brought the successes to 5 out of 5 the young CST Sport’s Andrea Di Caro from Nissen, who on Nova Proto NP 03 Aprilia has once again put in line his opponents in the sportscar Motori moto category, where the good Mirko Torsellini from Siena came dangerously close to 5 tenths, also on Nova proto NP 03, which in turn preceded the Venetian Enrico Zandonà who took the podium of the category on Wolf Thunder GB 08, while the Umbrian Filippo Ferretti won the Junior Tricolour points on Wolf GB 08 Thunder, but the tyre crisis at the end was evident. Forced stop for Achille Lombardi on Osella PA 21 4C in race 1 due to a contact.
In the 2000 class, Samuele Cassibba from Ragusa in a Nova Proto Sinergy V8 from Ragusa scored plenty of points, although he was still unfamiliar with the track.
Double for Lazio’s Alberto Scarafone on Osella PA 21 in group CN, with the road completely paved by the stop in race 1 of Apulian Francesco Leogrande, on the same car. Second place for the Bolognese Marco Capucci followed at a distance by the Sicilian Giuseppe Presti on Lucchini.
As always, Manuel Dondi from Bologna was incisive, dominating the E2SH group of the Italian championship in his Fiat X1/9, giving up the continental lead by only 35 hundredths to the Czech Ronnie Bratschi on the extreme Mitsubishi Lancer.
